Isuzu will no long be available in the U.S. market (Post date: 11/8/2011) For nearly 27 years, the Japanese automaker Isuzu will be abandoning the largest auto market after the decline in sales which was almost nothing in recent years. When they first entered the U.S. market, they had a great innovator and promoter of sport utility vehicles. They will stop selling passenger vehicles in the U.S. and concentrate on commercial trucks which is a much larger business in the U.S. and abroad. Unfortunately, there will be a cost of $37 million over two years for quitting the U.S. passenger market including fees to franchised dealers.
